The location for this painting is the beach end of Cress Street in Laguna Beach. It is a block from the Artist Eye Gallery where my work is currently showing.  With another perfect evening in Laguna Beach, the couple in the painting appear serenely captivated as the sun sets over Catalina Island in the distance. This peaceful setting is a testament to the beautiful scenes we enjoy almost daily here in Laguna Beach, California.

There is a perfect spot to spend time with friends and enjoy incredible sunsets in Laguna Beach. "Up on the Roof" captures the scene moments before the sun sets in the Pacific. The Rooftop Bar is located atop the Hotel La Casa del Camino - the hottest spot in town.  The hotel is conveniently located at Cress and Pacific Coast Highway in Laguna Beach - directly across the street from the Artist Eye Laguna Gallery where I exhibit my work, along with 15 other local artists.
